ProfilePress Update 4.14.1 – Checkout Autologin, Improvements, Bug Fixes, & More

We are excited to announce the release of ProfilePress 4.14.1, which includes exciting additions and critical bug fixes to enhance your experience with ProfilePress.

Added Features:

Enabling Autologin After Checkout: There is no need for your customers to sign in every time they check out. With our new setting, you can allow autologin after checkout to smooth the process for your customers.

More US States: We have added more US states in the registration form drop-down, including American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and Palau.

New Filter: We’ve added a new filter, ppress_myaccount_edit_profile_custom_form. This provides more opportunities for customization to ensure ProfilePress fits your website’s needs.

Bug Fixes

Free Trials via Stripe: We have fixed a bug concerning the checkout of free trials via Stripe. Now, users can check out seamlessly and enjoy free trials without glitches.

Multisite Login Redirect: We have resolved an issue where users were redirected to the wrong network site when logging into a multisite setup.

Manual Order Creation: We have fixed a bug where the order was $0 when the amount was not entered during manual order creation. Now, orders will reflect the correct details.

Updates

Stripe API Version: To deliver better payment processing, we have upgraded the Stripe API version to 2023-10-16.

Improvements

Caching of Gravatar API Calls: We have improved the caching process of Gravatar API calls to enhance load speed and performance.

Safe URL Encoding: We have switched to esc_url_raw NavigationMenuLinks::Frontend for better and more secure URL encoding.
