ProfilePress Update 4.16.9 – 4.16.15 – New Addons, Improvements and Bug Fixes

We are excited to announce a new round of ProfilePress updates covering versions 4.16.9 through 4.16.15.

Over the past several releases, we’ve shipped important security improvements, checkout and subscription handling fixes, export enhancements, the new Brevo addon integration, developer-focused improvements, and multiple bug fixes across both the core plugin and premium addons.

These updates improve stability, strengthen security, and make managing memberships, payments, subscriptions, and user accounts even smoother.

Improvements & New Features

New Brevo Addon

We added a new Brevo addon to ProfilePress, making it easier to connect your membership site with Brevo for email marketing and audience management.

Auto-Renewal Checkbox Addon

We introduced a new Auto-Renewal Checkbox addon that gives customers more control over recurring subscriptions during checkout.

This improvement helps improve checkout transparency and provides greater flexibility for subscription-based websites.

Order & Subscription Mapping for ESP Integrations

Email marketing and CRM integrations now support order and subscription mapping.

This improvement allows site owners to send richer membership and subscription data to supported email marketing platforms, making segmentation and automation workflows more powerful.

Hidden Checkout Fields Support

We added support for hidden fields in checkout forms, including the ability to specify values for hidden custom fields.

This is especially useful for advanced integrations, campaign tracking, custom workflows, and developer use cases.

Customer Export Improvements

We improved customer export functionality by adding support for billing address information in exports. This makes it easier to manage customer records externally and improves compatibility with accounting and CRM workflows.

Improved Subscription Handling

We improved subscription management workflows by ensuring payment gateway subscriptions are properly canceled before deletion. This helps prevent orphaned subscriptions and improves reliability when managing recurring payments.

Email Notification Improvements

Shortcode Builder Improvements

We fixed issues affecting user profile previews in the shortcode builder and improved the overall reliability of form previews.

Security Improvements

This release cycle also includes several important security and validation improvements across ProfilePress core and addons.

Security-related fixes include:

• Fixed arbitrary shortcode execution via checkout billing fields.
• Fixed a subscription authorization/security issue.
