How to Add a Login Form Widget to Your WordPress Sidebar
If you own a membership, multi-author or any WordPress site with lots of users, adding a login form to the sidebar of your website allows users to sign in or login quickly to their account.
In this post, we’ll learn how to build and add a login form widget to the WordPress sidebar using ProfilePress.
Firstly, build the login form with ProfilePress or use any of the built-in login form themes.
To add the login form to the sidebar widget area of your site, go to Appearance >> Widgets.
Drag the ProfilePress Form widget to a Sidebar widget area; select the login form from the select drop-down and save.
Preview your site and you should see the widget displayed in the sidebar of your site.
FYI: you can embed the login widget with shortcode anywhere on your website. For example, you can add the login widget anywhere on a page, post and text widgets.
