ProfilePress Update 4.15.5 – New & Improved Features and Bug Fixes
We are excited to announce the release of ProfilePress 4.15.5, which addresses some bugs and brings updated compatibility with WordPress 6.5 to enhance your ProfilePress experience.
New and Improved Features
- Custom Field Support in Account Welcome Emails: We’ve added support for custom fields in the Account Welcome emails. With this update, you can personalize the account welcome email further by incorporating the custom fields.
- Checkout Order Text Verbiage: We’ve improved the checkout order text verbiage to provide clearer communication when auto-renewal is disabled.
Bug Fixes
- Bug with Stripe payment method: We have fixed a bug where the payment method is not saved in Stripe when the order amount is zero. This usually affects free trial orders and orders processed with a coupon.
- Account creation from wp-admin bug: We have fixed a critical bug in which the customer username defaulted to the email address when creating an account from wp-admin.
- XSS Vulnerability on Carousel-author-posts Shortcode.: We’ve patched a potential security risk by fixing a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability on the carousel-author-posts shortcode.
Removed
- Deprecated PayPal API parameters
- Redundant “Other Payment Method” from PayPal settings.
