We are excited to announce the release of ProfilePress version 4.16.3. This update brings the Cloudflare Turnstile integration, new filters, important bug fixes, and improvements to enhance your ProfilePress experience.

New features & Improvements

Cloudflare Turnstile Addon

We’ve added a new addon that integrates Cloudflare Turnstile as a CAPTCHA alternative. This allows you to protect your forms from spam and abuse without compromising user experience. New Data Export Filter

Developers now have a new filter hook to take control of how user data is exported. The ppress_data_export_writer_use_alternative filter enables the use of an alternative export writer, giving more flexibility in custom data export implementations.

Size Attribute for User Avatar Shortcode

The [profile-avatar-url] shortcode now supports a size attribute. This allows you to control the avatar size directly from the shortcode, simplifying customization and layout adjustments. The shortcode can be used like: [profile-avatar-url size=400]

Invite Code Compatibility with Melange Form

ProfilePress invite code functionality now works seamlessly with the Melange form type. If you’re using Melange, you can restrict access to registration via invite codes without any extra setup.

Bug Fixes

Membership Plan Description Bug

We fixed an issue where membership plan descriptions were not displaying properly on the checkout page and in the backend. This ensures that users see accurate and complete plan details before making a purchase.
