Pages Settings

The Pages settings panel lets you set the pages necessary for ProfilePress to function successfully on your website.

To access the settings, go to ProfilePress > Settings > Pages.

The Pages settings are divided into two sections, the Global and Payment pages.

Global Pages

You can set the password reset page, registration page, login page, and user account page. These pages are created and assigned when the plugin is installed and activated via a prompt at the top WordPress admin pages.

The purpose of setting these pages is so that anyone who visits any of the default WordPress login, signup, and lost password pages will be redirected to their respective custom pages.

Users shouldn’t see the ugly default WordPress login that lives separately from your WordPress site and doesn’t conform to your website design.

Payment Pages

In this section, save the checkout, order success, and order failure pages you’ve created here if they weren’t created on the plugin installation.

Checkout Without a Plan

When someone opens your checkout page without choosing a plan first, for example from a “Pricing” or “Join” link in your menu, ProfilePress shows your plans to choose from. Each plan gets a card with its price, billing, any free trial or sign-up fee, and its description. Its button opens the checkout for that plan.

Plans in a plan group share one card, with the group’s plans as options, since they’re the plans a member can switch between. Signed-in members see their current plan marked. On a group they belong to, the card offers Switch plan, which opens the plan change checkout with the chosen plan selected.

Choose what the page shows in the Checkout Without a Plan setting:

• Show all active plans (the default).
• Show only the plans selected below: pick them in Plans to Show. Useful when you sell many plans, such as one per course, and only want a few on this page.
• Show the “Your cart is empty” message: the previous behavior.

Plans Layout chooses how they’re laid out: Grid (cards side by side, the default) or List (one row per plan, easier to compare when you sell many plans). In the list, each description is cut to one line; hover over it to read it in full.

A plan’s card uses the Description from its plan settings, so write one that says what the plan includes.

Terms & Conditions Page

Want to display a link to your terms and conditions page on the checkout page, set the page to the “Terms & Conditions Page” setting.
