ProfilePress Update 4.14.0 – Bank Transfer Payment, Disabling Concurrent Logins, Bug Fixes, & More

We are excited to announce the release of ProfilePress 4.14.0, which includes exciting additions and critical bug fixes to enhance your experience with ProfilePress.

Added Features:

Bank Transfer Payment Method: We are excited to introduce the new Bank Transfer payment method. Direct Bank Transfer, or Bank Account Clearing System (BACS), is a payment method that does not require online payment. Orders made using Direct Bank Transfer will be Pending until payment clears outside of ProfilePress.

Disable Concurrent Login: Users can now easily disable concurrent logins for enhanced security. Turning off concurrent logins helps stop your users or members from sharing their usernames and passwords with friends or colleagues instead of purchasing additional memberships, digital products, or courses from you.

Password Strength Meter: We have added the password strength feature to the Account details tab of the My Account page. This will allow your users to set strong passwords and secure their accounts.

Allowlist for Registration: Using the new allowlist option, you can now restrict your registration process by allowing registration only from specific email addresses.

Added Filter for Stripe Customer Metadata: A new filter is added to the Stripe integration, allowing the customer metadata array to be customized.

Added ppress_author_post_after_title Filter: Enhance post customization with the newly added ppress_author_post_after_title filter.

Bug Fixes

• Fatal Error Fix: Resolved a critical issue causing a fatal error: Uncaught TypeError during array filtering.
