How ThemeSelection Simplified User Management with ProfilePress
Managing user authentication, profiles, and memberships across multiple WordPress platforms can quickly become complex. At ThemeSelection, they needed a solution that was flexible, scalable, and easy to implement without stitching together multiple plugins.
That’s where ProfilePress came in. We spoke with Ajay to discuss how they use ProfilePress.
What’s your background, and what are you working on?
My name is Ajay Patel, and I’ve been working in the tech industry for over 15 years. Over time, I’ve built a strong foundation as an entrepreneur, developer, and innovator.
As the co-founder of Clevision, I’ve been involved in creating products such as ThemeSelection, PixInvent, FlyonUI, and ShadcnStudio. We’re also currently building Framespark, which is in progress.
My primary focus is on developing advanced AI tools, SaaS products, and UI component libraries that help developers and businesses move faster, innovate efficiently, and turn ideas into reality.
What motivated you to get started with your business?
Clevision was founded in 2018 when my co-founder, Vrushank, and I noticed a clear gap while working at a software company. Nearly every product needed an admin panel, yet there were very few reliable solutions to speed up the process. Building these interfaces from scratch was repetitive, time-consuming, and slowed down development across projects.
That’s when we saw the opportunity—to create a ready-to-use admin panel solution ourselves. This idea became Clevision, with a mission to simplify development and help teams ship faster.
What started with admin panels has since grown into a broader ecosystem of products.
Alongside ThemeSelection, we built:
- FlyonUI to simplify development with Tailwind components, UI blocks, templates, an AI-powered MCP, and a Figma kit
- Shadcn Studio to streamline UI development with pre-built blocks, components, templates, an AI MCP, a drag-and-drop builder, a Figma kit, and a theme generator
- And we’re currently working on Framespark, our latest product focused on Framer templates and UI blocks.
At its core, our motivation has remained the same – to solve real developer problems, reduce repetitive work, and build tools that make development faster and more enjoyable.
What Was the Reason for Choosing ProfilePress?
Before ProfilePress, we were juggling different tools for login forms, user profiles, and access control. This created unnecessary complexity and inconsistencies across our sites.
We chose ProfilePress because it offered:
- A complete all-in-one solution for forms, profiles, and memberships
- Frontend user management, eliminating reliance on default WordPress screens
- Built-in support for authentication flows, social login, and user directories
- Flexibility to scale across multiple projects
Instead of combining 3–4 plugins, we wanted one reliable system—and ProfilePress delivered exactly that.
How Does It Help?
ProfilePress acts as the central user management layer across our websites.
It allows us to:
- Create custom login, registration, and password reset forms
- Enable social login (X, Gmail, GitHub) for faster onboarding
- Implement email verification workflows (including auto-cleanup of unverified users after 7 days)
- Manage user profiles from the frontend
- Build and display member directories
- Ensure a smoother and more secure authentication experience overall
Everything is streamlined into a single workflow, making both development and user experience significantly smoother.
On Which Sites Do You Use ProfilePress and for What Purpose?
We actively use ProfilePress across:
- ThemeSelection → For managing user authentication and profile systems for customers and community users
- FlyonUI → To handle user accounts and structured access to UI-related resources
- Shadcn Studio → For login systems, user profiles, authentication flows, and member directory features
Each platform has different needs, but ProfilePress adapts well to all of them.
How Did You Utilize ProfilePress for Your Sites?
We primarily use ProfilePress for:
- Login Forms → Clean, branded frontend login form experiences
- Registration Forms → Structured onboarding for new users
- Password Reset Flows → Smooth and user-friendly recovery process
- Social Login Integration → Reducing friction with X, Gmail, and GitHub sign-ins
- Email Verification System → Ensuring only valid users stay in the system
- Edit Profile & User Profiles → Allowing users to manage their own data
- Member Directory → Displaying and organizing users in a structured way
We also leveraged its drag-and-drop and shortcode-based builders, which made implementation fast and flexible depending on the use case.
What Things Became Easy After Using ProfilePress?
After adopting ProfilePress, several things became noticeably easier:
- No need to rely on the default WordPress authentication UI
- Simplified login experience with social authentication options
- Automated user validation and cleanup via email verification
- Reduced dependency on multiple plugins
- Faster setup of user flows across different sites

Most importantly, it simplified how we think about user systems—from fragmented to unified.
Why Would You Recommend Using ProfilePress?
We would recommend ProfilePress to anyone building a WordPress site that involves users, accounts, or memberships.
It stands out because:
- It combines forms, profiles, authentication, and memberships in one plugin
- It supports modern login methods like social authentication
- It improves security with features like email verification workflows
